Place hamburger and garlic in a medium frying pan on medium heat; season with salt and Za’atar blend.
Break up and stir occasionally as hamburger browns. (if hamburger has high fat content, drain and discard excess fat before proceeding)
Stir in yogurt and water; heat to bubbly boil; reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered until liquid has reduced by half (~20 minutes).
Serve over or stir in prepared pasta.
