1 pound beef tenderloin, cut into four steaks ~4 oz each
4 tablespoons (½ stick) butter
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
What to Do
Set oven to broil. Season both sides of each steak with salt, pepper and garlic; broil ~6 minutes each side.
Melt butter on griddle or in a large skillet, distribute evenly; place each slice of bread in butter; flip bread; flip again once bread has browned on one side; remove when second side has browned.
While bread is browning, fry eggs to your liking.
