Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Heat a kettle with ~2 inches water to boiling; reduce heat to low.
Place colander on the rim of kettle over the steaming water.
Ladle batter into colander; press batter as needed to push through holes of colander.
After each ladle of batter has dropped into the water, remove colander from rim of kettle; using a slotted spoon, remove späztle from water after just a minute or two; place spä tzle on a paper towel. Return colander to kettle and repeat.
