Place hamburger in a large bowl.
Add remaining ingredients. (no, not the cheese and buns, silly goose :)
Mix well with food-safe (vinyl or nitrile; powder-and latex-free) gloved hands.
Divide and form into 4 equal sized balls (or 8 balls for sliders).
Roughly flatten into patties. (imperfect edges make yummy finished product)
Fry on medium heat until down-side is crispy brown.
Flip your burgers; place a slice of cheese on each; fry until the flip-side is crispy brown.
