Place hamburger, garlic and onion
in a medium frying pan on medium
heat.
Generously season with salt and pepper to taste.
Break up burger and stir occasionally as hamburger browns and vegetables soften; set aside. (if hamburger has high fat content, drain excess fat before proceeding)
Heat 6 cups of water to boiling in a kettle, add pasta and boil according to box instructions.
Drain pasta and return to kettle; add butter, milk and cheese sauce; stir until well blended.
Add browned hamburger and mix to incorporate.
