Preheat the oven to 425°F. Coat an oven-safe pan with aluminum foil or coat with a non-stick cooking spray.
In a resealable gallon storage bag, or other container, blend olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Add the asparagus stalks and shake to coat with the oil blend.
Place asparagus in a single layer on prepared pan; roast ~12 minutes; watch for tips getting slightly browned.
