What you Need

1 pound lean ground beef

1 tablespoon chili powder

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon paprika

1½ teaspoons ground cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup water

24 oz crushed and/or diced tomatoes with juices

4 oz diced green chilies

15 oz can pinto beans, rinsed and drained

1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained

12 oz sweet corn kernels

16 oz beef broth

What to do

What to Do

Place ground beef in a stock pot over medium heat.
Break up and stir occasionally as the ground beef browns (if it has high fat content, drain and discard excess fat before proceeding).
Add seasonings and water to stock pot; mix and bring to a bubbly boil, reduce heat to low and simmer ~5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Heat to a bubbly boil; reduce heat to low and simmer ~20 minutes more.
Great recipe for leftovers!
