What you Need

1 pound hamburger (ground beef)

1 large onion, diced

8 oz sliced mushrooms

½ cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 jar (16-24oz) pasta sauce of your choice

9 uncooked lasagna noodles

1 cup shredded mozzarella

1 cup cottage cheese

½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese

What to Do

Brown hamburger with onion and mushrooms in a frying pan on medium heat.
Stir spaghetti sauce into browned hamburger mixture; remove from heat and set aside.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Place three lasagna noodles side-by-side in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Spoon slightly less than ½ the hamburger sauce mixture onto noodles.
Spoon slightly less than ½ of each cheese and chopped parsley.
Place three noodles side-by-side on top of these layers; Repeat steps 5 and 6.
Place remaining three noodles on top of these layers followed by remaining sauce, cheeses and parsley.
Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake one hour; uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Clean as you go
Serve with additional shredded Parmesan.
