What you Need

Cutting Board and Carving Knife
Skillet (Frying Pan)
Spatual
Slotted Spoon
Kettle
Colander

1 pound hamburger (ground beef)

2 medium onions (wedged or sliced)

8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 clove garlic, minced

1 box (16 oz) uncooked spaghetti (or other pasta of your choice)

What to Do

Place hamburger, mushrooms, garlic and onion in a medium frying pan on medium heat.
Generously season with salt and pepper.
Break up burger and stir occasionally as hamburger browns and vegetables soften. (if hamburger has high fat content, drain excess fat before proceeding)
Heat 3 quarts of water to boiling, add pasta and boil according to package instructions.
Clean as you go
Drain cooked pasta and serve, topped with hamburger mix and any other add-ins of choice.
