Chicken Wings

What you Need

Mixing Bowl
Broiler Pan
Tongs
Pastry Brush

30 sections chicken wings

1 cup barbecue sauce of your choice

Rub

2 teaspoons Paprika

1½ teaspoons dried thyme

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

What to do

What to Do

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix rub ingredients in a gallon plastic resealable storage bag, or other resealable container; add chicken wings; shake well to coat.
Place wings on a broiler pan or in other baking dish; bake 30 minutes.
Increase oven temperature to 400°F; brush barbecue sauce generously on the wings; bake ~10 minutes.
Flip wings and brush with sauce; bake an additional 10 minutes.
Multiply Rub herbs and spices to have at the ready in future. 1 batch of this mix is enough to season 20-30 wings.

Rockin’ it old-school

If you purchase full wings, cut them at the joints with a kitchen shears. Use the wingette and drumette sections; discard the tip section. You may cut the sections when raw, or after you bake with the rub (step 3) and let cool.
