What you Need

4 ~5 oz each tilapia fillets

⅛ teaspoon black pepper

⅛ teaspoon salt

1 rib celery, diced

1 medium onion, diced

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon butter

2 teaspoons flour

½ teaspoon dried thyme

¼ cup milk

2 tablespoons lemon juice

¼ teaspoon hot sauce

¼ cup mayonnaise

1 can (4 oz) lump crab meat, drained

¼ cup panko or bread crumbs

What to Do

Preheat oven to 375°F; pat dry tilapia filets and season with salt and pepper; place tilapia in a baking dish coated with cooking spray or lined with foil; set aside
Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat; cook the celery, onion and garlic in skillet until tender.
Stir in flour and thyme; gradually whisk in milk; bring to a bubbly boil; stir in the lemon juice and hot sauce.
Remove skillet from heat; stir in mayonnaise, crab and bread crumbs; spoon onto tilapia filets.
Bake tilapia, covered, ~15 minutes; uncover and bake ~10 minutes more, until fish flakes easily with a fork.
