Hoisin-glazed Pork Tenderloin

1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into ~1-inch-thick steaks; patted dry

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon water

What to Do

Mix hoisin sauce, garlic and water in a small bowl; set aside.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; place pork steaks in skillet and sear, turning often until both sides are browned; remove from heat.
Preheat oven to 350°F; coat a baking pan with non-stick cooking spray or line with aluminum foil.
Lay seared pork steak in a single layer in the baking pan; baste both sides with hoisin sauce mixture.
Bake ~8 minutes; baste again, both sides; bake an additional 5 minutes.
Heat remaining hoisin sauce mixture in the microwave or on the stove-top, if you prefer; pour sauce over finished pork steaks; serve family-style or plated.
